This area is divided in two sections

  • Section One:

    1. Are you 14 years of age or older?

    2. Is the web site in English or have an English version?

    3. Does your site have at least 5 pages of content?

    4. If your site contains "Flash " does it have a skip button?

    5. If your site contains "Music" does it have a volume control/Stop button?

    6. Is your site easy to navigate without using the back button?

    7. Does your site have a place to displays your awards?

    8. Are your internal and external links operational?

    9. Does your site have content and not just a bunch of links to other sites or only pictures?

    10. Is your site suitable for all viewers?

A "NO" answer might not necessarily mean that an award would not be presented - except with regard to disqualifiers. However the greater the number of Yes's, the greater your chances of winning an award.

  • Section Two:

    1. Does your site have "under construction signs" or "coming soon signs"?

    2. If your site offers awards do you require someone to sign a guest book to receive an award?

    3. Is your site remote loading off someone else's site?

    4. Does your site open needless browser windows for links within your own site?

    5. Does your site have a horizontal scroll bar for 800X600 resolution?

    6. If your site offers awards do you penalize or disqualify sites for using comet cursor or disabling the right click?

A "YES" answer might not necessarily mean that an award would not be presented - except with regard to disqualifiers. However the greater the number of No's, the greater your chances of winning an award.
