7. Capt RW Lowman

   • Capt RW Lowman's career in the Navy spanned WWII, the Korean War (Bronze Star), the Cuban Crisis, Vietnam, and even welcoming Gemini 10 astronauts after splashdown. More than these hallmarks, however, Capt Lowman was regarded as "the original officer and gentleman:" he was a good leader; fair to his crews; and he demonstrated a creative and fun sense of humor. This memorial honors Capt Lowman with a visually pleasing, easy to navigate site that is full of photos, stories, history, a unique "family tree" and much more. I am the Capt's niece and this is part of ongoing family history/genealogical research.
