Diamond Heart Sample

Ok so you may be wondering how I decide who gets this award.

I have come up with a different method to do this award,  only the top 9% of my winners will be considered for this award.

All the platinum winners will qualify for this award and only those gold winners who have scored a 91-94 will qualify.

Since this award is only given twice a years, for the first judging period in June, only the winners from January through June will qualify. For the second judging period in December, only the winners from July through December will qualify.

After I decide who qualifies, all scores are wiped clean  and everyone will start off with 125% , from there I deduct points not add.

First I go to the sites to make sure they still comply with my general criteria.. all sites must meet my stated criteria for my other awards, be careful here... if your site no longer complies with my stated criteria I reserve the right to remove it from the winners circle at any given time.

After I have made sure your site is still in compliance with my criteria it will then proceed to the judging stage.

I will deduct points on a point system based on design and content, creativity and originality, navigation, award presentation and impression.

The point system is based on a 0-5 point rating, with 0 being poor and 5 being perfect. Out of a possible 25 points you can lose as little as 0 points and as high as 25 points

0-5 points for Design and Content
0-5 points for Creativity and Originality
0-5 points for Navigation
0-5 points for Award Presentation
0-5 points for Impression

If I give you a 3 for example in creativity and originality, a 2 in Design and Content, 4 in Navigation, 2 for Award Presentation and 5 for Impression.

Now deduct those numbers form the possible high five there, in other words:
3 - 5= 2
2 - 5= 3
4 - 5= 1
2 - 5= 3
5 - 5= 0.

Now add those numbers together, 2+3+1+3+0=9, now deduct that 9 from the original 125% I started you with and you get your final score.

I would continue to do this until I have the highest remaining score and a winner.

in the event of a tie all who tied will be awarded.
