I am proud to be
affiliated with the following fine organizations.
Due
to the ignorance of others either not reading my award criteria or just
refusing to abide by it, I will no longer offer my awards.
I am just tired of
people expecting me to make exceptions for their site, either they
don't realize or just don't care that if I made an exception for them I
would have to make and exception for everyone.
When
people put award criteria in place it is for a reason and its not to be
ignored. It has gotten to the point that I dread opening my award
email. I wonder how many people either overlooked the stated
criteria or ask me in their application to make an exception for their
site, stating I would feel it worth the exception. Well folks, there
are hundreds of thousands of others out there feeling their site worthy of
being exempt from the criteria, so if I made an exception for one I would
have to for many others as well.
When
awarding sites no longer is fun, but rather a chore and bother, its time
to give it up, and that is what my award program has become to me. I
may one day decide to reopen it but right now it will remain closed until
further notice.
I
will leave the following links in place because they are really good
resource areas for sites offering awards and I would like to keep my
rating on award sites and just because I worked hard for a couple years to
get my program where its at today.
